Polarization Control
Spatially rotation of the wavespace is an achromatic effect, a physical displacement enabling the same resolution and range at any wavelength.
Direct rotation of the waveplates using high resolution stepper motors is inherently without hysteresis and highly stable at any given position.
Given a linear polarization at the entrance, 2 rotational elements provide enough degree of liberty to reach all possible polarization states. A 3rd element is required for non-linear polarization states.
Our instrument permit 290° of rotation of each waveplate, an actual 150% spatial coverage. Waveplate absolute value is therefore non critical in the ability to reach every polarization states over broad wavelengths ranges.
No Hysteresis – <0.1° resolution – Stable and static
Dynamic response 3 to 125 hz
150% Poincare sphere coverage – 290° rotation
Achromatic spatial effect – Optical response similar to Lefebvre loops
